Philosophy

I hope to explore two very different aspects of writing within the post and pages of this blog. But foremost it is about expressing my ideals to those who would take interest in my point of view. It is towards this end that I write.

Regardless of what I might write, I have no intention of debating or attacking anyone else’s ideals. It is only to provide insight to my perspective that I leverage ideals that might be sensitive to others. though this is only in the spirit of honesty. I believe we should make every reasonable effort to explain ourselves to those who wish to understand us, so I expose my self as I am to those who would seek to know me.

The first form of writing you will find here is an experimental form of fiction, which I call “Literary Comics”. These one-offs and episodic short stories are intended to be a form of graphic-less comic, using narrative in place of images. Out of respect for the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words, my intention is to encapsulate each each scene in this way. In a series of micro-fictions which tell a greater story. Most of these will likely exist within the same universe, perhaps at different points in its history, under the heading “StoryWorks”. Others will not, and will instead be presented as “Rogue Tales”.

The other subject of my writings is Life. There are many things I believe which may not sit easy with everyone, and many things I do not believe, at least not as others believe them. However, I don’t require others to believe as I do, because I know we can share and be enriched by others regardless of these differences. So, though the discovery of these concepts may be found in my philosophy, I will endeavor to present certain ideas on their own merit… when possible. Though many among them may be easier to grasp if one has a certain foundation. For this reason, and because honesty demand both truth and openness, I shall also share that foundation… my truth, without further apology to those who feel the pressure of my beliefs. I am quite familiar with that pressure, the weight of it, as well as how it can effect those who feel threatened by it, so do not believe I am insensitive to it. The truth is, I simply find it hard to care about the things I believe cause people to suffer, to enable their excuses. So If you chose to indulge my perspective on life, “Be your Truth”, and know that I can only respect your choices, not necessarily your beliefs. But if your not happy in life, maybe some of my insights might offer you some inspiration to discover why.
